Η ιστορία του σχολείου το φέρνει να αντικαθιστά το δημοτικό σχολείο Βοσπόρου που, ως τότε, δεχόταν τα παιδιά της περιοχής. Το 1975 δημιουργείται μετά από αγώνες δασκάλων, γονέων και τοπικών παραγόντων το 3ο Δημοτικό Σχολείο Γλυφάδας. Βρέθηκε η έκταση, έγιναν οι απαραίτητες διευθετήσεις όσον αφορά την ίδρυση του σχολείου και μέσα σε τρία χρόνια χτίζεται το αρχικό κτίριο. Το 1978 φιλοξένησε τους πρώτους μαθητές ενώ το 1985 προστέθηκε και δεύτερη πτέρυγα ούτως ώστε να φιλοξενηθεί το τότε συστεγαζόμενο 18ο δημοτικό, το 5ο Γυμνάσιο και το 5ο Λύκειο Γλυφάδας. Στο διάστημα της συστέγασης υιοθετήθηκε το μοντέλο πρωινής με εναλλαγή απογευματινής λειτουργίας για τα σχολεία ανά εβδομάδα. Σήμερα το σχολείο μας είναι Ενιαίου Τύπου Ολοήμερο Δημοτικό και γράφονται σε αυτό μαθητές που είναι πλέον τέκνα παλαιών μαθητών που αποφοίτησαν απ' εδώ.
